The role

Leading the team.

We need a natural leader who brings structure, positive energy and genuine hospitality. Someone who is present on the floor, develops the team and takes ownership of the daily operation and performance of James.

You will

Lead, coach and motivate the floor, bar and kitchen teams
Keep daily service organized, efficient and guest-focused
Manage schedules, briefings, purchasing, stock and daily controls
Monitor sales, labour costs, waste and service standards
Build strong relationships with suppliers and local partners
Develop events, group experiences and special collaborations
Bring fresh ideas that strengthen the James brand and increase revenue
Work closely with the owners and management team

The person

Who we’re looking for.

You have experience in restaurant or hospitality management and know how to combine strong leadership with commercial awareness. You are organized, solution-oriented and confident in holding people accountable while keeping the team motivated.

An existing hospitality or supplier network in Curaçao is a strong advantage. Fluency in English is required; Dutch, Papiamentu or Spanish is an advantage.

Days & hours: Daytime · James is open daily 7:30–15:00
Contract: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start date: As soon as possible
Languages: Fluent English required · Dutch, Papiamentu or Spanish is an advantage
Location: James · Roodesteeg, Nieuwestraat, Pietermaai, Willemstad
